Neak Sophalは1989年、カンボジア・タケオ州で生まれました。王立芸術大学グラフィックデザイン科を卒業しました。Neak Sophalの作品は、その主題と関連するように構成されたポートレートを通じて、社会の問題と、カンボジアの文化、物語、記憶、恐怖といった特異性に焦点を当てています。文化や戦争のために、いまだその内部に強い恐れを抱えるカンボジア人を演じる各キャラクターの、背後にあるアイデンティティに疑問を投げかけます。
Neak Sophalは、国内外でのワークショップ、フェスティバル、個展、グループ展に参加しています。
