Gongkan’s art captivates with its visual beauty and conceptual depth. His distinctive style—featuring recurring motifs such as the boy and the black hole—has become a signature that invites viewers to question the boundaries between reality and imagination. By merging pop culture with profound artistic ideas, his work is both accessible and meaningful.
Let it Go
This installation reflects the burdens of thought and hidden secrets we carry as we grow. Over time, these mental loads become heavier, often holding us back. Let it Go serves as a reminder to let go of unnecessary thoughts and negativity, allowing space for new experiences and opportunities to enter our lives.

After the Rain
Inspired by the idea that “the sun always shines after the rain,” this piece captures the hopeful essence that follows life’s storms. In this installation, viewers are invited to feel the power of hope and the belief in miracles, with the understanding that no matter how challenging life becomes, there will always be brighter days ahead.

Maze of Dreams
Maze of Dreams represents a labyrinth of memories, symbolizing the mysterious and intricate nature of the human mind. Each room within this maze holds fragments of Gongkan’s own memories, some of which can trap us in the past, hindering our ability to fully realize ourselves in the present. This installation invites viewers to explore the maze, encouraging them to find their way out and liberate themselves from these self-imposed limitations.

Painting Room
In this zone, Gongkan draws on the surrealist traditions of René Magritte, presenting juxtapositions of unrelated objects in deeply poetic narratives. His works in Painting Room reflect the complexities of these relationships, seamlessly blending pop culture with deeper philosophical reflections. Influenced by the 1990s era of television cartoons, his narrative-driven artworks are both visually appealing and emotionally compelling. His personal experiences in both New York and Bangkok also inform his art, crafting a modern yet profound commentary on the human condition.
