UNKNOWN ASIA is pleased to announce that "The Kiyo Bank presents UNKNOWN ASIA 2021" will be held from October 15 (Fri) to October 17 (Sun), 2021 at Grand Front Osaka The event will be held at the Knowledge Capital Congressional Convention Center. In addition, the online art fair "The Kiyo Bank presents UNKNOWN ASIA 2021 ONLINE" will be held on October 8 (Sat) and 9 (Sun) 2021.
We have invited as Dr. Noboru Tsubaki, a professor at Kyoto University of Arts and director of ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO, as well as other leading gallerists and art directors. In addition, more than 100 leading figures in the fields of art, design, fashion, and media will participate as reviewers to interact with the exhibiting artists and conduct business matching. This is one of the main features of UNKNOWN ASIA, as we continue to create opportunities for artists to interact with each other and lead to business and future growth.

The first event was held in 2015 at the Osaka City Central Public Hall in Nakanoshima, Osaka, and from 2016 to 2018 at HERBIS HALL (Umeda, Osaka), and in 2019 at the Knowledge Capital Congressional Convention Center in Grand Front Osaka. In 2019, the exhibition will be held at the Grand Front Osaka Knowledge Capital Congressional Convention Center, with about 300 artists exhibiting, the largest number ever. 12,928 people visited the exhibition, showing the excitement of the Osaka art scene. Last year was the first time that an art fair was held online, creating communication that transcended physical distance and presenting a new form of art fair.

From Osaka to Asia, from Asia to Osaka. UNKNOWN ASIA" was born in Osaka in 2015 as an international art fair where unknown talents gather. Artists of all genres, including art, design, photography, illustration, modeling, fashion, and installation, gather to exhibit and sell their works at booths set up throughout the venue. One of the greatest features of the fair is the high possibility of business matching both domestically and internationally. The judges, who consist of prominent creative professionals such as art directors from Japan and abroad, and the reviewers, who consist of people from the creative industry, discover outstanding and unknown talents from their own perspectives and create opportunities for them to work. There will be a Grand Prix, a Jury Prize, and a Reviewer Prize. The greatest strength of UNKNOWN ASIA is that it functions as a place for artists to seize opportunities.

UNKNOWN ASIA was established in 2015 by "digmeout", an art project of FM802 and FM COCOLO, which boasts the No.1 listening rate in Osaka, and "ASIAN CREATIVE NETWORK (ACN)". It is composed of members who are active in various fields and are well versed in art and creativity.
