Morphology of the Cloud: Artistic Responses of the Invisibility Myanmar, 2023-2024, The Documentation Project for Myanmar Contemporary Art 2025, Vol. 5, a collaborative production of Aura Contemporary Art Foundation and the School of Contemporary Art (SoCA), is now available. Six contemporary artists from Myanmar have been selected for this project, and we are pleased to present the video interviews and catalogue accompanying this project.

Titled "Morphology of the Cloud: Artistic Responses of Invisibility Myanmar 2023-2024," the series explores the emerging works of contemporary Myanmar artists in the context of the rapidly changing political situation in 2023–2024, and seeks to highlight works that are not usually seen in galleries.

This 92-page book, available in bilingual format (English/Burmese), includes full interviews with the artists and a special essay by the curator. We would like to give you advance notice that you will be able to read about how artists are responding to the political turmoil in present-day Myanmar.
