Prak Dalin (b. 1996, Kampong Cham province) lives and works in Phnom Penh. She graduated in Architecture from the Royal University of Fine Arts (2019). She also completed Contemporary Art Class led by Khvay Samnang, Sa Sa Art Projects (2018), and English for Artist class led by Vuth Lyno and Prumsodun Ok, Sa Sa Art Projects and Prumsodun Ok & NATYARASA (2019). She participated in colLABoration exchange workshop with Sa Sa Art Projects’ graduates and Multidisciplinary Art (MDA) students from the Chiang Mai University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, Phnom Penh and Chiang Mai (2019 & 2020).
As an artist and architect, she uses natural and construction materials to create sculptures and installations that appear as architectural structures, focusing on the impact of Phnom Penh’s city development. Her artworks are inspired by nature and the process of conveying into visual art and installation. She experiments with different media and focuses on unconventional aspects of the materials.
