This work was created for Kinan Art Week 2022, which was on the theme of oranges. Focusing on the sheer diversity of the mandarin oranges which are a regional speciality, the central motif of the work is a selection of locally produced mandarin and orange juices. Products in bottles of various shapes and sizes are displayed, each with their label removed. As such, the subtle differences in color of the mandarin orange juices and the shapes of their bottles are brought to light, thereby transforming and enabling something as familiar as orange juice to be perceived as a thing (person) that each has its own individual personality.
